I’m advocate of being in a natural constant state of progression, which in essence is simply life itself, and this word describes the process perfectly. Blooming is special because it doesn’t happen overnight and it’s not always great, but you can always hope that when something is blooming, it’s slowly and positively moving forward.
Evidently flowers bloom, and since I’m seeking to “bloom”, it has sparked my fascination with these beautiful creatures. Not only do they exhibit an accurate example of blooming, but they’re also the truest definition of natural beauty- they’re pure in form and color, creating marvelous shapes, curves and beautiful colors.
As a new resident of NYC I thought they’d be hard to find outside the flower shops because concrete literally surrounds us. But I was wrong. Multi-colored petals of various types of fauna are everywhere during this time in the city. Just take a stroll down the street and you’ll see them in building entrances, in receptions, outside people’s windows, and even on rare untamed patches of green. I’ve developed a habit of suddenly stopping whatever I’m doing to photograph them.
Flowers are now a reminder of what I love and crave.
